Mr. Onyekachi Onyeibor (Fpsn) stands as an embodiment of excellence, hailing from Nigeria as a distinguished Pharmacist and Entrepreneur. His journey began with the acquisition of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the esteemed University of Nigeria (UNN), followed by a Master’s degree in drug design and development from the prestigious University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.

The foundation of his career was established as a research assistant in pharmacognosy at the University of Nigeria. Guided by the renowned scholar Professor Maurice Iwu, Mr. Onyeibor played a pivotal role in primary investigations and extractions at the phytochemical research laboratories of the Biodiversity Conservation Program (BDCP). His dedication eventually led him to a year-long position as a clinical pharmacist at the Irrua Specialist Hospital in Edo state, further solidifying his expertise.

In 1994, he embarked on a manufacturing venture that marked the genesis of his entrepreneurial journey. He became the pioneering pharmacist and plant manager of Glamour Pharm Ltd, a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility based in Enugu state, Nigeria. His vision and leadership propelled him forward, and in 1998, he joined Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited as a production pharmacist.

Thirteen years of service at Emzor saw Mr. Onyeibor’s progression through various roles, culminating in his stewardship over strategy, new product development, market expansion, and relationship management. Under his tutelage, Emzor’s evolution from a singular Nigerian entity into a conglomerate spanning six companies across Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, and India stands as a testament to his transformative leadership.

In September 2011, Mr. Onyeibor left an indelible mark on Emzor as the Deputy Managing Director and embarked on a new endeavor. Alongside partners and investors, he founded Miral Pharm Limited, a pharmaceutical marketing and distribution company with a presence in Nigeria, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. In 2018, Miral, in collaboration with technical and financial partners, acquired the assets of Evans Medical PLC, a WHO-prequalified pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Nigeria. This milestone prompted the rechristening of Miral to Evans Baroque in 2019.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Onyeibor’s commitment to community and education shines brightly through his role as Chairman of the Colina Grace Foundation, a charitable organization devoted to supporting the education of underprivileged Nigerian students. His passions extend to the realms of reading, writing, chess, and badminton, showcasing a multifaceted personality that encompasses both intellectual pursuits and physical endeavors.
