About

Who reviews your health information

Sesan Kareem is the Founder of HealthCoach Africa and a licensed pharmacist whose career spans the full pharmacy value chain. He has practised as a community pharmacist, a hospital pharmacist, and an administrative pharmacist, and has led pharmaceutical sales and marketing across 17 states in Southern Nigeria. That breadth is what he brings to reviewing health content: an understanding of medicines, patients, and the health system that surrounds them.

He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Olabisi Onabanjo University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. His further training includes Health Economics with the World Bank Group and Health Financing for Universal Health Coverage with the World Health Organization.

Sesan is a 2024 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur, the author of eight books, and a Pharmanews columnist since 2017. He has appeared as a health thought leader on Channels TV, TVC, and other networks. His guiding conviction is simple: no patient should die prematurely or suffer because they cannot access life-saving medicine.
