Role Overview: Operating within the School of Medical Sciences, the Amref International University Senior Lecturer delivers lectures, clinical tutorials, and practical training in midwifery and obstetric nursing. Beyond direct instruction, the post encompasses curriculum design and review, virtual learning environment (VLE) support, grant writing, peer-reviewed publishing, student research supervision, and departmental marketing to support student enrollment.
Eligibility Criteria:
PhD in Nursing OR a Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) with at least 3 years of academic/industry experience supported by verified publication points.
Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) specialized specifically in Midwifery and Obstetric Nursing.
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in tertiary nursing training and at least 2 years of active clinical practice.
Must hold a valid practice license and active registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
