Applications are officially open for the AE-FUNAI recruitment 2026. Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) in Ebonyi State, in partnership with the Federal Character Commission (FCC), is inviting applications for non-teaching clinical roles and academic staff across its medical faculties.

Available Positions in AE-FUNAI Recruitment 2026

1. Non-Teaching Clinical Roles

• Pharmacist II: CONHESS 07

• Specialist Nurses: CONHESS 07

• Medical Records Officers: CONHESS 06

2. Academic Staff Cadres

• Vacancies from Graduate Assistant to Professor across the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Basic Clinical Medicine, and Faculty of Clinical Medicine.

Eligibility & Mandatory Requirements

• Pharmacist II: B.Pharm degree registrable with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

• Specialist Nurses: B.Sc in Nursing with RN and RM certifications, full Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration, 3+ years of post-qualification experience, and a post-basic specialist qualification (e.g., Intensive Care, Coronary Care, or Public Health Nursing). (Note: General nurses without a post-basic specialist qualification do not qualify).

• Medical Records Officers: Health Records Officers Registration Board certificate or an ND/HND in Health Information Management, plus NYSC documentation.

How to Apply

1. Prepare Application Documents:

   • Compile 10 physical copies of your written application letter and detailed CV.

   • Attach copies of all claimed credentials, certificates, and your NYSC discharge/exemption letter.

2. Confidential Referees: Request three (3) referees (including one from your current or previous employer) to send confidential reports clearly marked with your desired post.
