Role Overview: Sitting within a Global Fund TB and HIV grant dedicated to men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender (TG) populations, the Anova Health M&E Officer leads the implementation of MERL activities. Responsibilities include data quality assurance (DQA), monthly on-site data verification, training clinical teams on web-based M&E platforms, managing data capturers, and ensuring national health databases remain audit-ready.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development, Health, Public Health, or a related field (formal M&E qualification preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in project monitoring and evaluation within health or development programs.

Proven experience supervising, mentoring, and conducting performance management reviews for data capturers or field data staff.

Background in HIV/AIDS, TB, and STI prevention and key populations programming.

Valid Code 10 driving licence with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).

Hands-on proficiency with South African national health information systems (TIER.Net, EDR.Web, DHIS, and HPRS) and MER indicators is highly advantageous.
