Role Overview: Medecins du Monde is a French medical humanitarian organization delivering primary healthcare, sexual and reproductive health services, and emergency response in northern Nigeria. Katsina sits at the sharp end of Nigeria’s overlapping insecurity, malnutrition, and outbreak burden, working through and alongside State Ministry of Health structures. The Medical Supervisor carries primary quality-of-care responsibility across supported primary health facilities in Zango, covering clinical mentoring, outbreak readiness, case management oversight, and liaison with the Katsina State Ministry of Health and State Primary Health Care Development Agency.
Eligibility Criteria:
Full MBBS medical degree required (Nurses, midwives, and public health graduates without an MBBS do not qualify).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position in the humanitarian sector or in supervision of health facilities.
Demonstrated experience working with Ministry of Health structures and in emergency or outbreak response (cholera, measles, diphtheria, or community management of acute malnutrition).
Professional fluency in English and current residency/work authorization in Nigeria.
Compensation: 750,000 to 1,000,000 NGN per month (Full-time, onsite national contract).
